Under general supervision, the Communications Intern is responsible for assisting the communications department with a variety of internal and external communications (including event planning) according to the established company policies and procedures.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES):
▪ Stimulating product excitement through daily promotions, marketing, PR, and sales strategies.
▪ Assisting with the development and implementation of guerilla marketing tactics.
▪ Assisting with the planning of special events.
▪ Assisting with social media.
Education:
▪ High School diploma required.
▪ Candidate should be working toward a degree in Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, Graphic Design, Organizational Communications, English or Advertising.

SCHEDULE: 6-12 months, depending on amount of hours (Fall/Spring Semester, with the possibility of extending to Summer) (Hours are flexible and can be arranged according to a student’s academic/work schedule)
REMUNERATION: Paid Internship. Academic credit also available.
