POSITION SUMMARY:

NEW HEIGHTS BMC MEDIA guides brands, businesses, agencies and start-ups through the concept and development of user-friendly advertising & marketing products, promotions, and strategies that highlight the uniqueness of each brand’s proposition.

COMMERCIAL VIDEOGRAPHER 

The Commercial Videographer is expected to creatively capture company activities, projects, programs, events, and client needs curating a collection of self-produced images, videos, and/or film recordings. 

‍

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES): 

    ▪ Assist Promotional Advertising & Marketing teams with operational filming needs 

    ▪ Research development that pertains to film and film software 

    ▪ Coordinates all aspects of filming/video recording for company when called upon 

    ▪ Operate and manage film equipment including cameras, lights, hardware, and software 

    ▪ Working alongside the Marketing team to create online content for digital marketing and PR for the company 

    ▪ Filming trailers for company events, projects, programs, and general visual needs 

    ▪ Filming commercials for company events, projects, and programs 

    ▪ Filming commercials on behalf of company as part of company service offerings to clients 

    ▪ Organize technical aspects of filming for the company, including coordination of technical needs 

    ▪ Lead on technical checks for film media. 

    ▪ On-site company event film media management, including formats, shipments, and quality control. 

    ▪ On-site company event technical support, including video interviews with guests, artists, performers, etc. 

    ▪ Engaging directly with artists, performers, clients, and/or the public to create a visual video archive for the company 

    ▪ Provides a good impression and enthusiastically films/video records throughout company events 

    ▪ Execute various other related duties as assigned, and other event filming tasks as needed. 

    ▪ Understand and complies with NEW HEIGHTS BMC MEDIA regulations and code of ethics 

PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS 

    ▪ Previous film/video recording and production knowledge preferable 

    ▪ Video production work and live event experience preferred 

    ▪ General knowledge of live entertainment and brands/shows 

    ▪ Knowledge of concert promotion and live events is a plus 

    ▪ The ability to work with little supervision 

    ▪ Good verbal and written communication skills 

    ▪ Sensitivity to customer and event promotion needs
