NEW HEIGHTS BMC MEDIA guides brands, businesses, agencies and start-ups through the concept and development of user-friendly advertising & marketing products, promotions, and strategies that highlight the uniqueness of each brand’s proposition.

COMMERCIAL PHOTOGRAPHER 

The Commercial Photographer is expected to creatively capture company activities, projects, programs, events, and client needs curating a collection of self-produced images. 

‍

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES): 

      ▪ Assist Promotional Advertising & Marketing teams with operational commercial photography needs 

      ▪ Research development that pertains to photography and film software 

      ▪ Working alongside the Marketing team to create online content for digital marketing and PR for the company 

      ▪ Coordinate all aspects of photography and/or filming/video recording for company when called upon 

      ▪ Capture engaging moments in a photo, using principles of photography such as composition and light. 

      ▪ Lead on coordination of technical checks for all photography and film media needs 

      ▪ Providing commercial photography on behalf of company as part of company service offerings to clients 

      ▪ Providing commercial photographs to clients on behalf of company 

      ▪ Providing photography for company events, projects, programs, and general visual needs 

      ▪ Providing commercial photography for company events, projects, programs, and general visual needs 

      ▪ Providing commercial photographs of company events, projects, and programs 

      ▪ Assist in monitoring the stage and the event crowd for good shots at company events. 

      ▪ Engaging directly with artists, performers, clients, and/or the public to create a visual archive for the company 

      ▪ Conducting commercial photographs for company events, projects, programs, and general visual needs 

      ▪ Organize technical aspects of photography and filming of live events for the company 

      ▪ On-site company event film media management, including formats, shipments, and quality control. 

      ▪ On-site company event technical support, including photographs of guests, artists, performers, etc. 

      ▪ Operate and manage film equipment including cameras, lights, hardware, and software 

      ▪ Enthusiastically assist in interacting with event-goers to obtain candid photos during company sponsored events 

      ▪ Execute various other related duties as assigned, and other event photography tasks as needed. 

      ▪ Understand and complies with NEW HEIGHTS BMC MEDIA regulations and code of ethics 

PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS 

      ▪ Have a thorough understanding of composition and light 

      ▪ Knowledge of composition and how to shoot moving subjects. 

      ▪ Have a thorough understanding of how to use a camera to shoot in different types of indoor/outdoor venues. 

      ▪ Previous photography production knowledge preferable 

      ▪ The ability to work with little supervision 

      ▪ Good verbal and written communication skills 

      ▪ Sensitivity to customer and event promotion needs
